This is a special house in Agios Nikolaos with a fantastic view of mIrambelo gulf

   The house sits on a rock along the coast of Crete overlooking the gulf of mirambelo considered to be one of the most privileged climatic regions of the Aegean.The mountains encircle the gulf thus offering the region a mild climate safe from humidity lasting from April through to November eight months of holiday for those who want and can. Two kilometers from the house is the seaside town Agios Nikolaos, the regions center.Sixty killometers away is the airport of Heraklion.

   At a reasonable distance from the house are the ruins of the ancient Minoan cities Knossos, Phaestos, Lato, Gournia and Zakros as well as Byzantine monasteries with unique historical and artistic wealth and interest. The house which covers a surface of about 400 sq meters was built on a plot of land 4655 sq meters. It includes eight  bedrooms plus a common area of 120 sq meters and arranged in such a manner that it allows independend acces to the many guest houses each with their private bathrooms, kitchen and veranda. Its eastern walls drop to the sea below into a small natural bay for the private use of guests.

   The town of Agios Nikolaos offers its inhabitants and tourists alike a modern hospital, shops, hotels and public services.Finally a little distance from the house is a marina for private boats fully equiped with the latest facilities.The "ROCK CASTLE" has hosted during the years the Beatles, Soraya, Donovan, Joan Baez, Michaelangelo Antonioni, Joan Collins and many more famous friends of Greece and its timeless magic.
