Land with a small stone cottage,

The lane leads to the house and the gate opens onto a long path of about 20 mtrs that is covered by a metal pergola that supports some very fine grapevines. Just inside the gate is a large water trough and in the corner of the garden is a fresh water well with a windmill which. There is a small storeroom in very good condition on the left and a covered passage joins the second storeroom and these two buildings could easily be incorporated into the main house.
The passageway leads to a piece of land about 80m² at present used to raise chicken and quail but would be suitable for further building in order to extend the house.

There are three rooms and an outside toilet. A door into the first room, at present used as a kitchen but would need a total refit, is of reasonable size and has a window with shutters that overlooks the path and a connecting door to the second room that also has a shuttered window overlooking the field at the back of the property. A second connecting door joins the last room to the house and has a door and a window looking out onto the courtyard.
The house has a septic tank at present but could be connected to the main drains in this village and there is water and electricity. The house is quiet and sheltered by pine and fruit trees and there is an unspoilt view to the hills beyond. The garden of approximately 900m² is flat and covered in grass with many trees including apple, apricot and a green fig tree so cultivation should be quite easy in this very fertile area that allows for two or three crops a year.
The village has shops, cafenions, some good tavernas, the area is well supplied with medical services and schools for all ages. Also there is a bus service to Sitia and access to the beaches on the north and south coast takes about 25 minutes. There is also the chance of spending lazy days on the nearby semi-tropical beach at Xerocambos.
